A monument in Selkirk was unveiled on 11 November 1927 at a ceremony attended by Lieutenant Governor Theodore Arthur Burrows and General Huntley Douglas Brodie Ketchen. It commemorated people from the Selkirk, St. Andrews, and St. Clements areas killed during military service.
