On 28 June 1930, he married fellow educator Blanche Clarissa Hark (1906-1986) at East Selkirk. They had two daughters: Kathleen Nancy Wolfe (1936-1937) and Eileen Patricia Wolfe (c1938-2020, wife of Norman John Davidson), and later resided at 539 Borebank Street in Winnipeg.
