Historic Sites of Manitoba: No. 10 Service Flying Training School, North Junction Relief Field (RM of Dauphin)

During the Second World War, this site west of highway 362 in the Rural Municipality of Dauphin was a relief field for the No. 10 Service Flying Training School (SFTS) near Dauphin. Aircraft unable to land at the main runways came here. As of 2012, the remains of a concrete building, an in-ground water tank, and a small portion of one runway remained at the site.
