Educator.
Born in the Rural Municipality of Rhineland on 23 October 1895, son of Johann P. “John” Suderman (1868-1950) and Susanna Giesbrecht (1873-1948), he became a school teacher. He taught at Rosewell School (1917-1918, 1919-1921), Winkler School (1919), Burwalde School (1921-1922, 1923, 1935-1936; Principal 1935-1936), Rosenfeld School (1923-1929, Principal), Alt Bergthal School (1930-1934), and Blumenhof School (1938-1942).
On 5 October 1920, he married Maria Toews (1901-1995) at Kronsgart and they had three children: Harold Julius Suderman (1921-?), Margaret Nora Suderman (1923-?), and Irma Elaine Suderman (1925-2011, wife of Joe Schwartz). They later lived at 80 Ruby Street in Winnipeg.
He died at the St. Boniface Hospital on 28 March 1945 and buried in the Southside Cemetery at Morden.
