Memorable Manitobans: William Skidmore (c1885-?)Educator. Born in England around 1885, he emigrated to Canada in 1912. He was Principal of Glenella School (1915-1916), MacGregor School (1916-1917), Ardal School (1922-1924), Ladywood School (1924-1925), Bowsman Union School (1925-1927), Grey School (1927-1931), Dominion City School (1934-1936), and Melita School (1936-1939).
