Manitoba Organization: Doctors Manitoba / Manitoba Medical Association

Founded formally in 1908 as the Manitoba Medical Association, representing licensed physicians in Manitoba, its origins go back to 22 May 1890, with the formation of the Provincial Medical Association of Manitoba, under President Marshall Macklin, First Vice-President J. H. O’Donnell, Second Vice-President J. W. Good, and Secretary-Treasurer J. R. Jones. In 2008, the organization changed its name to Doctors Manitoba.
