Educator.
Born in 1939, the middle of three children of Abram Wiebe and Katharina Enns, the family moved to Graysville when he was around 1948. After graduating from high school, he attended the Manitoba Teachers' College (1958-1959) then taught at Molesworth School (1959-1960), Hodgson School (1960-1962), and Wingham School (1962-1963). He then moved to the St. James-Assiniboia School Division where he taught at Lincoln School (1963-1964) and was Principal of St. Charles School (1968-1969), Heritage School (1970-1981), Ness Junior High School (1981-1987), and Hedges Junior High School (1988-1990). After retirement from education, he worked in accounting for over three decades. In 1963, he married Ada Ringrose and they had three children. He was an avid curler and a Canadian football fan. He died on 18 September 2026.
