Memorable Manitobans: Matthew Samuel Pritchard Glowe (1926-2015)Educator, cleric. Born on 18 December 1926, son of Matthew Glowe (1897-1929) and Florence Irene Pritchard (c1899-1979), he attended teacher training and worked at various school districts across rural Manitoba. His career included teaching at Belmont School (1950-1951), Kenton School (1950-1951), St. Charles School (1951, Principal), Waskada School (1963-1964), and Dauphin Composite High School (1965-1966). He later obtained a Doctorate of Divinity and became an ordained Reverend (1973) of the Swedenborgian Church of North America, serving until his death. He died at Winnipeg on 13 February 2015.
