Memorable Manitobans: James S. McKessock (1911-1983)
Educator.
He was the Principal of Meleb School (1954-1955, 1956-1960), Elphinstone School (1955-1956), Steep Rock School (1961-1962), and Makinak School (1963-1967). He later taught at MacGregor Collegiate (1969-1970) and Gladstone School. He died in 1983, unmarried, and was buried in the Gladstone Cemetery.
