Memorable Manitobans: Robert Leslie McIntosh (1925-2011)Educator, school inspector. Born on 16 September 1925, he was the Principal of Reston School (1949-1953), Foxwarren School (1953-1956), Elgin School (1956-1959), and Rivers School (1959-1965). He was then a Manitoba School Inspector based at Altona. He then moved to Morden where he coordinated the Department of Field Services. Finally, he was the Director of Field Services and later a mathematics consultant for the Manitoba Department of Education at Winnipeg.
