Cleric.
Born at St. Andrews on 11 February 1875, he attended Cooks Creek School, North St. Andrews School, and South St. Andrews School. He then taught at Cloverdale School (?-?), Lakeland School (?-?), and Brant School (1896) after which he attended St. John's College. He graduated in 1900 and was ordained as an Anglican deacon in 1901 and a priest in 1902.
He served at St. Matthews Anglican Church at Gilbert Plains (1901-1905), Christ Church Anglican at Grandview (1901-1905), All Saints Anglican Church at Dominion City (1905-1906), St. Pauls Anglican Church at Rathwell (1906-1915), and St. Marks Anglican Church at Treherne (1906-1915). He was Rector of the Church of the Ascension at Stonewall (1915-1942), Rural Dean of Selkirk (1922-1942), and Archdeacon of Selkirk (1936-1942) until retirement in November 1942. He received an honorary doctorate from St. John's College in 1941.
On 29 August 1905, he married Edith Alice More (1882-1943) at Gilbert Plains and they had three daughters: Kathleen Mary Anderson (1906-1976, wife of Stefan Oliver), Ellen Adelaide Anderson (1908-1988, wife of Alexander Ross McKenzie), and Louisa Alice Anderson (1910-?).
He died at Selkirk on 26 January 1962 and was buried in the Mapleton Cemetery.
