Memorable Manitobans: Herman Saltzman (?-?)
Civil engineer, political activist. A Russian Jewish immigrant, he received a degree in civil engineering from the University of Manitoba and was a Labour candidate for the Winnipeg North constituency in the 1914 provincial general election. He was living in Winnipeg in early 1917 but his whereabouts after this time are unknown. Some of his construction works in Manitoba included:
