Memorable Manitobans: R. Keith Pettapiece (1926-2010)


Born at Neepawa on 23 April 1926, the youngest of seven children, he taught at Rivers School and other rural schools before moving to Winnipeg where he was the Principal of Allard School (1969-1973), Athlone School (1973-1980), and Robert Browning School (1980-1982). He died at Winnipeg on 10 October 2010 and was buried in the Pettapiece Cemetery.
