Memorable Manitobans: Terry Angantyr Arnason (1903-1982)

Educator.

Born in the Rural Municipality of Dauphin on 28 May 1903, son of Sveinbjorn Arnason and Maria Bjarnadottir, brother of I. Gilbert Arnason, his family moved to Winnipeg when he was young. He was the Principal of Ralph Brown School (1946-1950) and Principal Sparling School (1950-1954). He died at North Vancouver, British Columbia on 31 March 1982.
