Educator.
Born at Winnipeg on 10 November 1897, daughter of Flora Ann McIver (1867-1954) and Christian “Chris” Wiechman, she moved to Treherne with her family in 1898. After graduating from the Treherne High School, she attended the Manitou Normal School. She taught at Pratt School (?-?), Arbroath School (?-?), and Boyne Creek School (?-1928) before moving to St. James in 1928. There, she taught at Linwood School (1928-1957) and Deer Lodge Junior High School, serving as its first Vice-Principal (1957-1964) until retirement. She was an active member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Westminster United Church. She was an active burler and bowler. She died at the Grace Hospital on 12 October 1968 and was buried with her family in the Treherne Woodlands Cemetery.
