Educator.
Born on 11 March 1887, she became an educator and was Principal of Prosperity School / Garson School (1924-1927) and Eriksdale School (1927-1931). On 22 July 1931, she married William Alexander Beattie “Bill” Smith (1884-1974) at Old Kildonan. The couple, who had no children, took up residence at Eriksdale where she died at Eriksdale Hospital on 29 December 1970, with her remains were cremated.
