Memorable Manitobans: James Alan Hamilton (1927-2004)Community activist. Born at Winnipeg on 1 October 1927, he held management and marketing positions in the industrial cleaning supply business. He served on the Board of the Manitoba Centennial Corporation. He was a member of Knox United Church where he served as President and Sunday School Superintendent.
