Memorable Manitobans: Charles Wesley Hall (1866-1945)

Building contractor.

Born in Ontario on 16 April 1866, he came to Brandon and worked as a coal and wood dealer, and later as a building contractor in western Manitoba and around Saskatchewan. On 9 December 1891, he married Mary Florence Brooks (1871-1960) at Brandon and they had three children: Rexford Clarence Hall (1894-1911), Cosy Kathleen Hall (1897-?), and Charles Bryan Hall (1911-?). He died at Regina, Saskatchewan on 25 February 1945 and was buried in the Brandon Cemetery.
