Memorable Manitobans: Andre Gouzee (1876-?)

Born at Brussels, Belgium on 26 July 1876, he came to Canada in 1896 and resided at Winnipeg after 1907. He was Managing Director of the General Financial Corporation of Canada and the Alberta Belgian Society. He was Manager of the Mortgage Company of Canada and the Belgo-Canadian Fruit Lands Company. He was a Director of the Belgo-Canadian Real Estate Company and the Land and Agricultural Company of Canada. He was a member of the Manitoba Club, St. Charles Country Club, and the Winnipeg Hunt Club.
