Memorable Manitobans: Neil Gaudry (1937-1999)Accountant, MLA (1988-1990), MLA (1990-1995), MLA (1995-1999). Born at St. Laurent, Manitoba on 19 September 1937, he worked as an accountant and office manager, and secretary-treasurer of Malcolm Construction Limited for twenty-five years. He was elected to the Manitoba Legislature in 1988, replacing Laurent Desjardins. He championed numerous francophone causes during his term in office.
