Memorable Manitobans: Earl Moses Calverley (1915-2008)Educator. Born at Poplar Point on 16 September 1915, son of Edgar Calverley (1892-1985) and Jean Smith McKinstry (1891-1979), he attended Normal School and became a school teacher, serving as the Principal of Medora School (1941-1942) and Waskada School (1942-1945).
