Historic Sites of Manitoba: Waskada War Memorial (Waskada, Municipality of Brenda-Waskada)

A monument in Waskada, in the Municipality of Brenda-Waskada, was erected 2 July 1967 by the Waskada Branch No. 92 of the Royal Canadian Legion in commemoration of soldiers from the local area killed during military service. A marble plaque listing the names of those killed during the First World War, unveiled at the Waskada IOOF Memorial Hall in 1924 or later is now located in the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #92 at Waskada.
