Built at Minnedosa in 1971 for the Rolling River School Division, this secondary school was named initially for educator James Crossley, restoring the name which previously applied to the original high school facility in town until it had been changed to Minnedosa Collegiate Institute. The Crossley Collegiate Institute name would again be subsequently renamed Minnedosa Collegiate Institute at this location as well.
