Nurse.

Born at Goderich, Ontario on 14 October 1874, daughter of Clarassa Privat (1851-?) and William Hood (1843-1908), she came to Manitoba with her family in 1878 and settled on a farm near Nelsonville. She graduated from the Winnipeg General Hospital's nursing school in 1901 and practiced as a nurse for 21 years until her marriage.

During the First World War, she served in England and France and was decorated by King George V. Returning to Winnipeg, she served two terms as President of the Manitoba Association of Registered Nurses (1930-1931, ?-?) and a member of the Board for the Winnipeg Children's Aid Society. She was an official of the Nurses' Alumni Society of the Winnipeg General Hospital.

On 22 April 1922, she married dental surgeon John Francis “Frank” Morrison at Winnipeg. They had no children.

She died at her Winnipeg residence, 184 Brock Street, on 28 April 1948 and was buried in the Morden Cemetery.
