Broadcaster.
Born at Vancouver, British Columbia in 1915, son of William and Alice Moore, he joined CBC Manitoba in 1946 and spent 30 years as a farm broadcaster.
He travelled extensively in Canada and the United States to resaerch and produce radio and television programs. He also travelled overseas on United Nations assignments relating to food and agriculture. He was a founding member of the Canadian Farm Writers and Broadcasters Association. He served on the Veterinary Medical Board of Manitoba and was a member and Chair of the Canadia Veterinary Medical Asociation's Research Trust Foundation. In recognition of his contributions, he was given honorary life membership in the Agricultural Institute of Canada.
On 8 October 1938, he married Isabel Laird McIntyre (c1918-1994) at Norwood and they had two sons and a daughter. He died at the St. Boniface Hospital on 7 January 1993. He was added posthumously to the Honour Roll of the Manitoba Agricultural Hall of Fame (1994).
