Memorable Manitobans: William “Bill” Merritt (1947-2014)


A graduate of Kelvin High School (1965), he was Business Manager for the Winnipeg Folk Festival for 17 years and co-founder of the Winnipeg International Children’s Festival. He performed on television and radio, and recorded or played with many local musicians. He died at Winnipeg on 25 March 2014.
