Memorable Manitobans: Johnathan W. Mansfield (1882-?)

Farmer.

Born in Manitoba on 11 August 1882, son of Johnathan and Elizabeth Mansfield, he attended local country schools for two summers but was otherwise largely self-educated. He rented his father’s 640-acre farm on Section 27, Township 11, Range 8 near Brandon. On 24 January 1912, he married Blanch White at Toronto, Ontario. He was a member of the Anglican Church.
