Memorable Manitobans: Peter Loewen (c1924-2010)Teacher, civil servant, municipal official. He grew up in Silberfeld, Manitoba and lived his adult life in Gretna and Winnipeg. He worked as a school teacher, served in the RCAF during the Second World War, and spent most of the working life with the federal department of customs and excise.
