Born in Russia in 1878, he came to Canada in 1903 and worked as a contractor for 35 years, retiring in 1942. He and wife Amelia (?-?) had a son and three daughters. The family lived . He was a member of St. Joseph’s Church and Mens Sick Benefit Society. He died at the Concordia Hospital on 24 September 1963 and was buried in the Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. He lived at 342 Andrews Street at the time of his death.
