Merchant, municipal official.
Born at Middlesex, England on 19 December 1865, he came to Brandon where he worked for William Liguori Bertrand (c1865-1960), handling the finances and administration for Bertrand and Company, located at 918 Rosser Avenue. On 2 October 1902, he married his employer’s sister, Virginia Bertrand (1855-1928) at Brandon. They had no children. He served as a Brandon city alderman (1906-1909), a police magistrate, and a member of the board for the Brandon General Hospital. He died at Brandon on 26 April 1942 and was buried in the Brandon Cemetery.
