Memorable Manitobans: Marie-Louise Huot (1951-2015)

Educator.

Born at St. Boniface in 1951, daughter of Lucille Davis Huot and Dr. Jean-Marie Huot (1918-2009), she attended Ecole Marion, L’Académie Saint Joseph, Institut Collégial Louis Riel, and University of Manitoba. In 1973, she started teaching in St. Vital, becoming one of the youngest female Vice-Principals in the St. Vital School Division and later a Principal. She later changed careers into human resources and relocated to Vancouver, British Columbia. She died there on 2 December 2015.
