Memorable Manitobans: Samuel Henderson (1875-1948)Community activist. Born on 7 February 1875, the only son of John and Ann Munroe Henderson, he was active in the municipal government of East Kildonan and East St. Paul. He was a member of the Old Kildonan Presbyterian Church. In addition to serving on the Church’s board of managers, he was secretary-treasurer of the trust fund committee for 25-years.
