Memorable Manitobans: Norman Sidney “Norm” Goltsman (1933-2005)

Lawyer, community activist.

Born at Winnipeg on 26 May 1933, son of Samuel Goltsman and Queenie Fingold, he graduated from law school in 1957 and practiced law in Winnipeg for the remainder of his life. He served as President of the Chai Folk Ensemble and President of the B'nay Abraham Synagogue. He died at the St. Boniface Hospital on 3 May 2005.
