Memorable Manitobans: Roland J. Dubois (1924-1973)

Municipal official.

Born at Ste. Anne in 1924, son of Adonai Joseph Emile Antonin Dubois and Yvonne Leclair (1903-2001), and brother of Roger V. Dubois, he was Resident Administrator [also known as Local Administrator] of the Local Government District of Piney (c1948-1973). He and his wife Lea had four children: Claude Dubois, Denis Dubois, Laurent Dubois, and Juliette Dubois. He died at the St. Boniface Hospital on 17 August 1973 and was buried in the Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens.
