Memorable Manitobans: Adeline Zaborniak Chorney (1921-2016)Farmer. Born at Highland Glen on 11 August 1921, daughter of Bill and Mary Zaborniak, she married Anton Chorney (1915-2000) on 28 June 1941 and they had three children. She and her husband were renowned for growing prize-winning potatoes that they exhibited at the Royal Winter Fair in Brandon and Toronto.
