Anthony Daniel Burneski (1909-1993)

Born in Brandon, Manitoba on 21 January 1909, he operated Dominion Tire and Radio for over 50 years. He served 25 continuous years as a councillor for the City of Brandon, and a President of the Manitoba Association of Urban Municipalities from 1960 to 1961. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, UCT, Kiwanis, and Rotary. He died at Brandon on 25 July 1993 and was buried in the Brandon Cemetery.
