Memorable Manitobans: Robert Duncan Bell (?-?)

Manager.

Born in Prince Edward Island, son of Gilbert and Sophia McDougall Bell, he was educated at Prince of Wales College, Charlottetown, PEI. On 22 October 1907, he married Jeanette Catherine MacLeod. They had one son and two daughters. He came to Winnipeg in 1914 as Manager of the North American Life Assurance Company. He was a member of the Masons and Southwood Golf Club. In 1925, he lived at 85 Maryland Street, Winnipeg.
