Memorable Manitobans: Winston Stavus Barton (1941-2010)

Born at Beresford Lake on 25 March 1941, son of Albertine and Stavus Barton, he grew up at Bissett. He attended Teachers’ College and spent 35 years teaching at various rural schools, including at San Antonio School (1961-1966) and Springfield Junior High School (?-?). He died on 1 November 2010.
