Historic Sites of Manitoba: Brandon Grocery Warehouse / Western Grocers Warehouse (23 Twelfth Street, Brandon)

This two-storey brick building on Twelfth Street in Brandon, measuring 80 feet by 105 feet, was built in 1914 as a warehouse for the Brandon Grocery Company, a wholesale fruit and grocery business. In 1926, the business was purchased by Western Grocers Limited and it remained at this location until closing in July 1990.
