The Weidenfeld School District was established in February 1898 and a one-room schoolhouse operated at SW36-2-2W in the Rural Municipality of Rhineland. In 1966, the district was dissolved and its area was divided between the Horndean School District and the Rosenfeld Consolidated School District, and later the Rhineland School Division.
Among the teachers of Weidenfeld School was Henry Krushel (1931-1937).
