Historic Sites of Manitoba: Riding Mountain School No. 491 (RM of Yellowhead)

The Riding Mountain School District was established formally in February 1887 and a schoolhouse operated at NW10-18-15W in what is now the Rural Municipality of Yellowhead. The district was dissolved in June 1909 and its catchment area became part of the Elphinstone Consolidated School District.
