This one-storey brick building at the southwest corner of Main Street and McAdam Avenue in Winnipeg, measuring 50 feet by 105 feet, was designed by the local architectural firm of Waisman Ross and Associates. It was built between late 1961 and early 1962 as a dry cleaners for the newly established Carlton’s Cleaning Carousel Company, but under the local operation of Perth's Laundry Company. It opened officially in March 1962.
The building has since been subdivided into multiple retail spaces.
