Historian, blogger.
He writes about Manitoba history on his blogs West End Dumplings and Winnipeg Downtown Places. He was a freelance local history columnist for the Winnipeg Free Press (2014-2018) and Winnipeg Real Estate News (2018-2020), and was a member of the council for the Manitoba Historical Society (2017-2024). He chaired the jury for the Margaret McWilliams Awards.
In recognition of his community service, he received a Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal (2022) and a Lieutenant Governors Award for Historical Preservation and Promotion (2026).
