A monument beside the municipal office at McAuley in the Rural Municipality of Ellice-Archie was erected in commemoration of soldiers from the local area killed in the First World War and Second World War. Two additional plaques identify all those who served during the two wars. Adjacent to the memorial is a plaque commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Rural Municipality of Archie in 1983. Local war veterans are also commemorated by the McAuley Pioneers Monument elsewhere in McAuley.
