This monument in Margaret in the Rural Municipality of Prairie Lakes, unveiled on 25 July 1970, commemorates schools that once operated in the vicinity: Alcester School No. 380 at NE15-5-19W (1888-1953), Harmony School No. 769 at SE31-4-18W (1895-1953), Langvale School No. 224 at SE2-6-18W (1883-1961), Pinkham School No. 269 at NE36-5-19W (1884-1954), Greenfield School No. 212 at NE16-5-18W (1884-1943), and Margaret School No. 212 in Margaret (1943-1991). The Greenfield School building was brought to the site. The school closed in June 1993.
