Historic Sites of Manitoba: Kerrs Lake Cross (Kerrs Lake, Municipality of Clanwilliam-Erickson)

Built in 1916 by Mike Slobodian at NE35-17-17W in what is now the Municipality of Clanwilliam-Erickson, the Ukrainian Catholic people of the Kerrs Lake area would hold prayer services here and visit with their neighbours. The closest Ukrainian Catholic church was at Mountain Road. The site was restored in 1997 and 2008 by Carl and Joyce Robinson in memory of their deceased grandson Tim Woywada.
