Located at Gimli, this high school was commissioned by the Gimli School District No. 585 with architectural designs from Libling Michener and built by contractors Peterson and Funger in 1960-1961. The Evergreen School Division facility opened to senior students in Fall 1961 when the former collegiate was converted to Gimli School No. 2. This school was expanded in 1966 by Delta Construction. Junior high grades seven and up were transferred here for the start of the 1974-1975 school year from Gimli Public School / Gimli Junior High School.
