Historic Sites of Manitoba: Federal Grain Elevator / Manitoba Pool Grain Elevator (Altamont, Municipality of Lorne)

A wooden grain elevator in Altamont, on the CNR Miami Subdivision in the Municipality of Lorne, was built in 1932 by Federal Grain. Sold to Manitoba Pool in 1972, it closed in 1989 and was demolished sometime between 1995 and 1997.
