Memorable Manitobans: Joseph J. Wilson (1851-?)

Farmer.

Born in Dumfrieshire, Scotland, 26 December 1851. Came to Canada (Paris, Ontario) 1860. Moved to Manitoba, May 1878. Homesteaded East Quarter 2-4-9. Later purchased South half 15-4-9. Married Sophia Quandt, March 1879. Has six sons and one daughter. Thirty years a school trustee. A successful and prominent farmer of the district, raises pure bred sheep. Presbyterian. Address, Manitou, Manitoba.
