Memorable Manitobans: Marvin Terhoch (1947-2019)

Radio producer, community activist.

He was the head of CBC Television variety programming in the 1970s, and Executive Producer of the CBC evening news program in the 1980s. He volunteered with the Winnipeg Folk Festival, was a member of the founding board of the International Children's Festival, and board president of the Manitoba Association of Food Banks. He died at his Lockport home on 21 January 2019.
